Ammonium Carbonate is an inorganic substance having the chemical formula (NH4)2CO3. At room temperature, it appears as a white solid powder with a strong ammonia-like odor. It is made by combining Ammonium Carbamate and Ammonium Bicarbonate. In the presence of air, it slowly decomposes to create ammonia and carbon dioxide.
