Description

Cupric Chloride, also known as Copper(2+) Chloride, Copper Dichloride, Copper Bichloride, and Dichlorocopper, has the chemical formula CuCl2. In anhydrous form, it appears as a yellowish-brown crystalline solid. Whereas, its dihydrate appears as a green crystalline powder with no odor. It is soluble in Water, Alcohol, and Acetone at ambient conditions. When heated to decomposition, it emits toxic fumes of Hydrogen Chloride gas and Copper Oxides. It can be produced either by the reaction of Copper with Chlorine or by combining Copper Carbonate with Hydrochloric Acid. Chemically pure or Laboratory reagents are the two terms often used to describe Lab Grade chemicals. Lab Grade chemicals do not meet any accepted quality or purity requirements such as the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, and the FCC Grade, despite their acceptable purity. In the United States of America (USA), Lab Alley is selling its high-quality Cupric Chloride, Anhydrous, Lab Grade online at laballey.com. Due to its high purity, this Lab Alley product is highly recommended for labs and commercial applications.
