Description

Lab Alley’s Ferrous Sulfide, also known as Iron(II) Sulfide and Black Iron Sulfide, appears gray to brownish-black rotten-egg like air/moisture sensitive crystals, lumps, rods or granular powder and is sparingly Water-soluble at ambient conditions. When heated to decomposition, it emits toxic fumes of Sulfur Oxides and Sulfides. Lab grade chemicals possess reasonable purity but do not comply with any official standard for quality or purity like the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, or the FCC Grade. The Lab Grade is also known as Laboratory Reagent (LR) and Chemically Pure (CP). Lab Alley’s Ferrous Sulfide, Lab Grade is recommended for educational institutes, research labs, and commercial applications.
