Description

Potassium Bisulfate, also known as Potassium Hydrogen Sulfate, Salenixum, Potassium Acid Sulfate, and Sulfuric Acid-Monopotassium Salt, has the chemical formula KHSO4 or HKO4S. It appears as colorless crystalline solid or white deliquescent crystals/granules, having a sulfur-like odor, and is freely soluble in Water at ambient conditions. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of Sulfur Oxides and Potassium Oxides. Chemicals in the Reagent Grade category have high purity and are best suited for analytical purposes.
