Spectrastat™ offers a comprehensive solution for preserving cosmetic and personal care products without external preservatives. It harnesses multifunctional agents, highly effective as biostatic and fungistatic agents, making it an excellent alternative to preservatives like parabens, phenoxyethanol, MIT, and others that might be considered undesirable. Its efficacy spans a wide pH range (pH 4 to 8), with a typical usage level of 0.8% to 1.5% (w/w). It seamlessly integrates into various systems, including emulsions, anhydrous formulations, and surfactant-based products, such as creams, lotions, shower gels, and color cosmetics. It can be incorporated into the water phase at different temperatures or post-emulsification in oil-in-water emulsions.
