About Sucrose Crystal, ACS Reagent Grade

Sucrose, also known as Saccharose, Cane Sugar, and Table Sugar, has the chemical formula C12H22O11. It appears as a white, odorless, very fine crystalline consistency. Sucrose possesses a sweet taste and is freely soluble in Water but slightly soluble in Ethanol at ambient conditions. It is normally obtained from Sugar Cane (15-20% contents) and Sugar Beet (10-17% contents). Chemicals in the Reagent Grade category have high purity and are best suited for analytical purposes.
