These clear, non-vacuum desiccators are crafted from borosilicate glass and come with a matching borosilicate glass lid featuring a molded knob for easy handling. The clear glass construction ensures excellent visibility and allows for autoclaving. Both the desiccator and lid have ground glass rims that require greasing to create an airtight seal.
A perforated porcelain desiccator plate is included, which fits onto a ridge above the lower chamber. This lower section is suitable for holding standard drying agents such as silica gel or anhydrous calcium chloride.
