Zinc Oxide, also known as Oxozinc, Zinc White, Zincoid, Amalox, Oxydatum, Zinci Oxicum, Ketozinc, and Nogenol, has the chemical formula ZnO. It appears as white hygroscopic powder or granules with no odor and a bitter taste. It is insoluble in Water and soluble in dilute Acetic Acid at ambient conditions. On a commercial scale, it is usually produced by two methods named Direct or American and Indirect or French method.
