Aluminum Oxide, a white odorless crystalline powder, is produced by refining Bauxite (key ore of aluminum) and the process is famously known as the Bayer’s Process. It is amphoteric in nature and insoluble in water. The type of production method determines the eventual properties (both physical and chemical) of Aluminum Oxide and the variant formed through high temperature method is usually chemically inert. The Analytical Reagent Grade is generally equivalent to the American Chemical Society (ACS) Grade and is acceptable for use in analytical applications and research laboratories. Lab Alley is selling its premium quality Aluminum Oxide, Analytical Reagent Grade online at laballey.com in the United States of America (USA).
