Calcium chloride is a calcium and chlorine-based chemical compound. It is highly volatile and is readily soluble in water. It is a solid salt that behaves like a normal ionic halide at ambient temperature. It can be synthesized directly from the limestone, but is also manufactured in huge quantities as a by-product of the Solvay process. Chemically Pure or Laboratory Reagents are terms used to describe lab grade substances. Despite their acceptable purity, they do not meet any accepted quality or purity criteria like the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, and the FCC Grade. Our Lab Grade chemicals are exceptionally pure in terms of heavy metal impurities.
