About Triethanolamine 85% Lab Grade
Triethanolamine (TEA), commonly known as Trolamine, is a tertiary amine and a triol. It is a bifunctional molecule that can serve as both an alcohol and an amine. Trolamine contains trace amounts of diethanolamine and ethanolamine, and it may act as an antioxidant to prevent auto- oxidation of animal and vegetable lipids.
