ACS Grade Chemicals
Meets or exceeds standards set by the American Chemical Society
The American Chemical Society (ACS) sets purity standards for over 400 commonly-used reagents via a sub-committee composed of chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturers, academics, and government organizations. The ACS grade designation signifies high purity (at least 95%) and integrity of reagents. The ACS does not verify validity of high purity claims, but relies on suppliers to fulfill the requirements of the ACS monogram in their own self-interest.
