Aluminum Sodium Sulfate, also known as Soda Alum, Sodium Alum, and SAS has the chemical formula AlNaO8S2. It appears as an odorless, colorless crystalline solid or white powder and is soluble in Water at ambient conditions. It is produced by adding a clear solution of Sodium Sulfate to Aluminium Sulfate. Lab Alley’s Aluminum Sodium Sulfate is highly pure and is a dehydrated double salt of Aluminum and Sodium. The ACS/FCC Grade is generally equivalent to the reagent grade, conforms to the criteria of the Food Chemicals Codex (FCC). A substance that has received ACS/FCC Grade is acceptable for use in analytical, research laboratories, food applications.
