CoreIndustrial Chemicals for Manufacturing & Plant Operations
Lab/Technical and ACS-grade solvents, acids, alkalis, glycols and water treatment chemicals — with SDS and lot COAs online, and sizes from a pint to a 275-gallon tote.
What you need at each step
From the parts washer to the QC bench, pick chemicals by the job they do on your line. Each one links to its product page with grades, sizes and documents.
- 01
Cleaning & degreasing
Solvents strip oils, greases and residues from parts, tooling and equipment.
- 02
Surface prep & finishing
Acids pickle, etch and passivate metal before coating, plating or assembly.
- 03
Formulation & blending
Amines and glycols build cleaners, coolants, coatings and specialty blends.
- 04
Process chemistry
Strong acids and caustics adjust pH, neutralize streams and drive reactions.
- 05
Water & boiler
Oxygen scavengers protect boilers; coagulants clarify process and waste water.
- 06
QC & testing
Standardized solutions titrate baths, cleaners and incoming raw materials.

SupportingWhich grade does your process need?
Most plant jobs run on Lab/Technical grade. Step up to ACS or Electronic grade only where trace impurities affect your part, bath or test result.
See our certifications →| Grade | What it means | For nutrient blending | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lab/Technical | Industrial purity suited to cleaning, finishing and process use | Yes | Degreasing, pickling, pH control |
| ACS | Meets American Chemical Society reagent specifications | Yes — where purity matters | Sensitive baths, QC methods |
| Semiconductor/Electronic | Low trace metals for electronics and precision work | Yes — check COA | Electronics etching, precision cleaning |
| Reagent | Standardized concentration for analytical methods | No | Titrations, bath analysis |
| USP/FCC | Meets pharmacopeia or Food Chemicals Codex standards | Only if spec requires | Food-contact or personal care lines |
What plant buyers check before they buy
- Grade & purity
- Match the grade on the COA to your process spec — overbuying purity adds cost.
- Concentration
- Pre-diluted solutions save handling; confirm strength so bath make-up stays on target.
- Container & size
- Pick pails, drums or totes that fit your dispensing, storage and secondary containment.
- Material compatibility
- Check SDS and compatibility with tanks, pumps, gaskets and the parts being treated.
- Shipping & hazmat
- Corrosives and flammables may ship only to commercial addresses with hazmat handling.
Paperwork for your EHS program
Storage, handling, discharge and reporting requirements vary by site and chemical. Confirm requirements with your EHS or regulatory team.
From trial batch to full production
Same grade, same documentation at every size. Trial a pint, then move to drums, totes and Autoship without requalifying a new supplier.
Manufacturing & Industrial buyer questions
Is Lab/Technical grade good enough for industrial use?
For most cleaning, finishing and process jobs, yes. Check the lot COA against your process spec, and move to ACS or Electronic grade where trace impurities matter.
Which solvent should I use for degreasing parts?
Mineral spirits suit general degreasing and slower evaporation; acetone and isopropyl alcohol dry fast and leave little residue. Check compatibility with your parts, coatings and equipment first.
Can I get a COA and SDS for each product?
Yes. The SDS and a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis are available online for every product.
Do you ship acids and caustics in drums and totes?
Yes. Many products come in sizes up to 55-gallon drums and 275-gallon totes. Some chemicals ship only to commercial addresses.
Can I set up recurring orders for production?
Yes. Use Autoship for scheduled deliveries, or request a quote for recurring drum and tote volumes.
Do you accept purchase orders and net terms?
Yes. We accept purchase orders and offer net terms through a credit application. Call 512-668-9918 for help.
