Description

Triethanolamine (TEA) is a tertiary amine and triol that is also known as Trolamine. It is a bifunctional molecule that has both alcohol and amine characteristics. Trolamine includes small quantities of diethanolamine and ethanolamine, and it may function as an antioxidant to protect animal and vegetable lipids from auto-oxidation. It is frequently utilized in industrial and cosmetic goods as a pH adjuster and surfactant. Lab grade chemicals possess reasonable purity, but do not comply with any official standard for quality or purity like the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, or the FCC Grade. Our Triethanolamine, Lab Grade, ≥99% is recommended for both educational research and commercial applications.
