CoreChemicals for Fleet, Transportation & Vehicle Maintenance
Lab/Technical and ACS-grade degreasers, glycols, deicing salts, battery chemicals and test solvents — with SDS and lot COAs online, and sizes from a pint to a 275-gallon tote.
What you need at each step
From the wash bay to the fuel lab, pick chemicals by the job they do in your shop or yard. Each one links to its product page with grades, sizes and documents.
- 01
Parts cleaning & degreasing
Solvents cut grease, oil and road grime from engines, brakes and parts.
- 02
Coolants & heat transfer
Glycols are the base for blending coolants and heat transfer fluids.
- 03
Deicing & anti-icing
Chloride and acetate salts treat roads, lots, walkways and paved surfaces.
- 04
Battery maintenance
Electrolyte for lead-acid batteries; bicarbonate neutralizes spills and terminal corrosion.
- 05
Paint & rust removal
Ketones strip coatings and adhesives; phosphoric acid removes rust before painting.
- 06
Fuel & fluid testing
Hydrocarbon solvents support fuel, oil and fluid checks in the shop lab.

SupportingWhich grade fits your shop?
Most maintenance work runs on Lab/Technical grade. Move to ACS grade for testing, and always check the COA against the OEM or industry spec you work to.
See our certifications →| Grade | What it means | For nutrient blending | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lab/Technical | Industrial purity for cleaning, blending and maintenance | Yes | Degreasing, deicing, battery work |
| ACS | Meets American Chemical Society reagent specifications | Yes — where purity matters | Fuel and fluid testing |
| USP/FCC | Meets pharmacopeia or Food Chemicals Codex standards | Only if spec requires | Low-toxicity glycol blends |
| Reagent / HPLC | Purity for analytical and lab methods | No | Lab analysis only |
What fleet and shop buyers check before they buy
- Your spec
- OEM, ASTM, AMS and FAA specs are yours to verify — compare the lot COA before use.
- Concentration
- Glycol, acid and brine strength set your mix ratios; confirm it on the label and COA.
- Material compatibility
- Check solvents against paint, rubber, plastics and composites before shop-wide use.
- Flash point & storage
- Flammable solvents need proper cabinets and ventilation — check the SDS.
- Container & size
- Pick pails, drums or totes that fit your dispensers, sprayers and storage space.
Paperwork for your shop safety plan
We don't certify products to OEM, ASTM, AMS or FAA specifications. Confirm suitability and disposal requirements with your maintenance, safety or regulatory team.
From one bay to the whole fleet
Same grade, same documentation at every size. Try a pint in one shop, then stock drums and totes across depots, hangars and yards.
Transportation buyer questions
Do your products meet OEM, ASTM, AMS or FAA specifications?
We don't certify products to those specifications. Compare the lot COA and SDS with the spec you work to before use.
Which solvent is best for parts cleaning?
Mineral spirits suit general parts washing; d-limonene is a citrus-based option; isopropyl alcohol dries fast for electrical parts. Check compatibility with paint, rubber and plastics first.
What is the difference between ethylene and propylene glycol?
Both are used to blend coolants and heat transfer fluids. Propylene glycol is lower in toxicity; ethylene glycol is more common in engine coolants. Follow your equipment maker's requirements.
Which deicing salts do you carry?
We carry calcium chloride, magnesium chloride and potassium acetate. Choose based on surface, temperature and local rules for runoff.
Can I get a COA and SDS for each product?
Yes. The SDS and a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis are available online for every product.
Can public works and government fleets buy from you?
Yes. We are on GSA Advantage, accept purchase orders and offer net terms through a credit application. Call 512-668-9918 for help.
