About Potassium Acetate, ACS Reagent Grade

Potassium Acetate, also known as Diuretic Salt and Acetic Acid Potassium Salt, has the chemical formula C₂H₃O₂K or CH₃COOK. It appears as a colorless deliquescent crystalline powder or white flakes with a faint acetic odor and is soluble in Water at ambient conditions. When heated to decomposition it emits fumes of potassium oxide. An ACS Grade reagent is a chemical that meets the purity requirements of the American Chemical Society (ACS).
