What pharma and supplement makers check before they buy

Monograph compliance
USP or NF on the label and COA — required for most drug product specifications.
Assay & impurities
Assay, residual solvents and heavy metals feed your release testing — check each lot COA.
Source material
Plant, animal or synthetic origin can matter for vegan, allergen and label claims.
Particle size
Mesh and particle size affect blending, powder flow and tablet compression.
Certifications
Kosher, Halal, Organic and RSPO claims on supplement labels start with your inputs.

Paperwork for your quality system

Requirements for drugs, compounded preparations and supplements are set by FDA and state boards of pharmacy. Confirm requirements with your quality or regulatory team.

From compounding bench to production batch

Same grade, same documentation at every size. Qualify on a pint for compounding or pilot work, then scale to drums and totes for production.

Pharmaceuticals & Nutraceuticals buyer questions

What's the difference between USP and NF grade?

USP grade meets the United States Pharmacopeia monograph, most often for actives and solvents. NF grade meets the National Formulary monograph, most often for excipients. For both, check the lot COA against your specification.

Do you supply chemicals for pharmacy compounding?

Yes. We carry USP and NF-grade water, alcohols, glycerin, propylene glycol, PEG bases and other compounding ingredients. Confirm each one meets your pharmacy's requirements and state board rules.

Can I get a COA for each lot?

Yes. A lot-specific Certificate of Analysis and the SDS are available for every product.

Are your supplement ingredients Kosher and Halal certified?

Select products are Kosher, Halal, USDA Organic and/or RSPO certified. Certifications are shown in the product name and listed on our Certifications page.

Which HPLC solvents do you carry for QC?

We carry HPLC-grade acetonitrile, methanol, water and other solvents, plus LC/MS grades for mass spec methods.

Do you offer bulk pricing for production volumes?

Yes. Request a quote for drums, totes or recurring volumes, or call 512-668-9918.
