About Ammonium Carbonate, ACS Reagent Grade

Ammonium Carbonate is an inorganic substance having the chemical formula (NH4)2CO3. It is made from a combination of Ammonium Carbamate and Ammonium Bicarbonate. At room temperature, it appears as a white solid powder with a strong ammonia-like odor. In the presence of air, it slowly decomposes to create ammonia and carbon dioxide.
