About Boric Acid Powder 99% Lab Grade (Mesh size 100)
Boric Acid, or more specifically Orthoboric Acid, is a compound with three hydroxyl groups connected to a boron atom. The molecule has trigonal planar geometry centered at the boron atom. It is an odorless, water-soluble white solid. Since it cytotoxic, it is useful as an antiseptic, antifungal, and antiviral agent.

Came in a large screw on lid plastic jar and is more the consistency of sand than powder. I have used actual powder boric acid before abs definitely prefer this one with the larger grains. It isn’t messy, doesn’t float into the air and 100x easier to put into capsules that the finer powder. I used it to make suppositories and it has work wonders for chronic bv. I also sprinkled a bit around the yard because it is winter and ants tend to make there way inside and I have seen a significant reduction in critters. Love that I can get the 5lb size.
