About Dicalcium Phosphate, Lab Grade

Dicalcium Phosphate (CaHPO4), a combination of Phosphoric acid and calcium salt, is also known as Phosphoric Acid Calcium Salt and Calcium Phosphate Dibasic. It is incompatible with oxidizing agents and, upon heating, can undergo decomposition into irritating gases and vapors. It appears as a white odorless solid at ambient conditions and is insoluble in water.

Lab grade chemicals possess reasonable purity but do not comply with any official standard for quality or purity like the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, or the FCC Grade. The Lab Grade is also known as Laboratory Reagent (LR) and Chemically Pure (CP).
