Description

Ferric Chloride Anhydrous, also known as Trichloroiron and Iron(III) Chloride, possesses slight iron acid odor and appears as orange to brown-black hygroscopic solid at room temperature. It is noncombustible and soluble in Water, Alcohol, Glycerol, Methanol, and Ether at ambient conditions. It can undergo thermal decomposition to emit corrosive and/or toxic fumes of Hydrogen chloride gas, Chlorine, and Metal oxides.
