Hydrogen Peroxide, also known as Hydrogen Dioxide, Peroxide, and Carbamide Peroxide has the chemical formula H2O2. It appears as a clear colorless crystalline solid at low temperatures or liquid at normal temperature with a slightly sharp odor and slightly acidic taste. It is soluble in Water and Ether at ambient conditions. Lab Alley’s Hydrogen Peroxide, 5% Solution contains 5% by weight of Hydrogen Peroxide and 95% by weight of Water.
Chemically pure or Laboratory reagents are two terms often used to describe Lab Grade chemicals. Lab Grade chemicals do not meet any accepted quality or purity requirements such as the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, and the FCC Grade, despite their acceptable purity. Due to its high purity Hydrogen Peroxide, 5% Solution, Lab Grade is highly recommended for use as laboratory chemicals.Â
