Copper (Cupric) Sulfate solution, sometimes designated with Test Solution or TS, appears as blue colored clear liquid and is moderately soluble in water, acid at ambient conditions. When heated to decomposition, it emits toxic fumes of sulfur oxides. Lab Alley’s Copper Sulfate Test Solution is composed of 12.5% pure Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate with 87.5% purified water. It is ready-for- use solution for the purpose of conducting the USP, the National Formulary and assay tests. It has been prepared according to the requirements of the USP Pharmacopeial Convention and is ideal for lab research or similar works.
