Gridded MCE (Mixed Cellulose Ester) membrane filters feature a uniform pore structure, consistent thickness, and a smooth surface that enhances particle detection and provides excellent retention efficiency. Their high internal surface area ensures rapid, uniform wetting, increased adsorption capacity, and superior mechanical strength during gravimetric analysis and general filtration.
These hydrophilic, biologically inert membrane filters deliver high flow rates while providing effective microorganism retention. The 3.1 × 3.1 mm grid pattern, available in black on a white membrane, improves colony counting and particle identification, making the filters ideal for microbiological testing.
Gridded MCE membrane filters are widely used for clarification, sterilization, and analytical applications, including microbiological analysis, clarification or sterilization of aqueous solutions, and filtration of solutions compatible with dilute acids, dilute bases, and aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
Lead Time: 4–6 weeks.
