About Cupric Oxide II Black Powder Lab Grade

Cupric Oxide, also known as Copper(II) Oxide, Copper Monoxide, Oxocopper, Copper Brown, Paramelaconite, and Ketocopper, has the chemical formula CuO. It appears as black to brown crystalline powder, flakes, or beads with no odor. It is insoluble in Water and Alcohol at ambient conditions. Copper oxide is known as Tenorite in mineral form and it can be formed by heating Copper in the presence of Oxygen. Lab grade chemicals possess reasonable purity but do not comply with any official standard for quality or purity like the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, or the FCC Grade.
