About Cupric Sulfate Powder Anhydrous Reagent Grade
Cupric Sulfate Anhydrous, also known as Copper Monosulfate (CuO4S), appears as grey hygroscopic powder and is soluble in water, methanol at ambient conditions. It can be prepared by dissolution of oxides, carbonates, or hydroxides in Sulfuric Acid solution. It is also formed as a byproduct of copper electrolysis and etching process. Cupric Sulfate Anhydrous can undergo thermal decomposition to produce toxic fumes, Sulfur Oxides, and Copper Oxides. Chemicals in the Reagent Grade category have high purity and are best suited for analytical purposes. They're useful in research investigations as they produce consistent, trustworthy, and repeatable findings.
