About EDTA 0.2M Solution

EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid), also known as Edetic Acid, has the chemical formula C10H16N2O8. It appears as a white crystalline powder and is slightly soluble in water at ambient conditions. It is formed when Ethylenediamine is condensed with Sodium Monochloroacetate in the presence of Sodium Carbonate. EDTA is a weak acid that is an Aminocarboxylic Acid and its solution appears as a colorless liquid. Lab Alley’s EDTA, 0.2M solution contains 58.448 grams  of Disodium, Dihydrate EDTA powder dissolved in a 1L of distilled Water. Chemically pure or Laboratory reagents are two terms often used to describe Lab Grade chemicals.
