Calcium Hydroxide solution is also known as Slaked Lime or Lime Water. It appears as clear and odorless solution that is slightly basic in nature with bitter taste at ambient conditions. It reactsreadily with carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) forming calcium carbonate. Lab Alley’s Lime Water contains only 0.16% of pure Calcium Hydroxide dissolved in >99% of water.
