About Sucrose Crystals, Food Grade, Purified

Sucrose, also known as saccharose, Cane Sugar, and Table Sugar, has the chemical formula C12H22O11. It appears as a white odorless crystalline or powdery solid with a characteristic caramel or no odor. Sucrose possesses a sweet taste and is freely soluble in Water but slightly soluble in Ethanol at ambient conditions. It is normally obtained from Sugar Cane (15-20% contents) and Sugar Beet (10-17% contents). Purified Grade, also known as Pure or Practical Grade, refers to those high-purity compounds that do not fulfill the ACS, the USP, or the FCC grade requirements. They are mostly used in conjunction with Lab Grade chemicals. In the United States of America (USA), Lab Alley is selling its high-quality Sucrose, Purified Grade online at laballey.com.
