Barium Chloride, 10%, For APHA
The inorganic compound Barium Chloride has the formula BaCl2. It is one of the most commonly available barium salts and readily soluble in water. It is white, poisonous, and gives a flame yellow- green tint, just like most other barium salts. It is also hygroscopic, forming the dihydrate BaCl2(H2O)2 on absorption of moisture. Lab Alley is providing its specially prepared 10% (w/v) solution of Barium Chloride for American Public Health Association (APHA). The APHA solution is used for the determination of sulfates ions.
