About Copper (Cupric) Sulfate 10% ACS Grade
Copper (Cupric) Sulfate solution is also known as Bluestone, Sulfate de Cuivre, Roman Vitriol, and Blue Vitriol. It appears as clear blue liquid and is moderately soluble in water, acid at ambient conditions. When heated to decomposition, it emits toxic fumes of sulfur oxides. Lab Alley’s Copper Sulfate, 10% solution is 0.5M solution composed of ~10% pure Cupric Sulfate with ~80% purified water. An ACS Grade reagent is a chemical that meets the purity requirements of the American Chemical Society.
