About Mercuric Chloride Purified

Mercuric Chloride, also known as Mercury(II) Chloride, Dichloromercury, Sublimate, and Mercury Bichloride, appears as white, odorless hygroscopic crystals or powder having the chemical formula HgCl₂ or Cl₂Hg. It is insoluble in water and highly toxic that is able to volatize slightly at ambient conditions and appreciably at 100 o C. Purified Grade, also known as Pure or Practical Grade, refers to those high-purity compounds that do not fulfil the ACS, the USP, or the FCC grade requirements.
