About Mercuric Nitrate 0.01N Solution
Mercuric Nitrate, also known as Mercuric Nitrate Monohydrate and Mercury (II) Nitrate Hydrate has the chemical formula H2HgN2O7. It appears as colorless to white crystalline granules with a slight Nitric Acid odor. It is hygroscopic and is soluble in Water at ambient conditions. Lab Alley’s Mercuric Nitrate contains 0.170% Mercuric Nitrate, Dihydrate, 0.0995% Nitric Acid (70% weight/volume solution), and 99.6% of Water and appears as a colorless, odorless liquid.
Chemically pure or Laboratory reagents are two terms often used to describe Lab Grade chemicals. Lab Grade chemicals do not meet any accepted quality or purity requirements such as the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, and the FCC Grade, despite their acceptable purity.
Due to its high purity, Mercuric Nitrate, 0.01 N Solution, Lab Grade is highly recommended for laboratory purposes only.
