About Silica Gel Powder, High Purity
Lab Alley’s high purity silica gel powder is a granular form of silicon dioxide, SiO2 that is most commonly used as a desiccant. The three-dimensional atomic level arrangement creates voids in its structure which can be filled with water molecules, thus removing moisture from the surroundings. It can be packed with shoes, electronics, and food products to ensure that they stay moisture free in storage and during transit. Both indicating (those that change color on absorbing water), and non-indicating silica gels are available.
Silica gel powder also finds use as the stationary phase in various chromatography applications.

Is this in the powder form like really really fine powder form or is it more in like gel balls. I am trying to make a matting powder for silicone dolls and I have tried to mix silicone dioxide , fumed silica, and a type of velvet type powder which still caused it to be more balled up in tiny increments. I need the softest velvet powder I can get I noticed u have different forms of this. Maybe u can direct me to what u have closest to that of what I need. Or maybe you can send me some samples if I can find the right blend, I will be a customer for life . The matting of a silicone baby is not just after its done or washed to make it not sticky, the process is at the end of painting u put the finest of layer of platinum silicone on and then take off as much as u can to the point of just barely a stickiness then Matt it dusting it completely and letting it cure completely then wash rinse and repeat the process then wash and just put a dusting of the matting powder where the doll feels like human skin. I've been trying different products and I see alot of products use magnesium stearate and some other products. I just want to find the finest softest blend of velvety matting powder and in my searches I came across u. Maybe u can help me do this. Thank u I look forward to hearing from u
