About Silicon Lumps Lab Grade

Silicon metal possesses a silvery appearance, has no odor, and is practically insoluble in Water at ambient conditions. However, it is soluble in molten Alkali Oxides and a mixture of Nitric- Hydrofluoric acids. It burns readily on exposure to heat or flames and may be difficult to extinguish with Water.
