About Sodium Thiosulfate, 0.10N Solution

Sodium Thiosulfate Pentahydrate, also known as Disodium Sulfurothioate Pentahydrate, and Sodium Hyposulfite Pentahydrate is a hydrate of Sodium Thiosulfate with 5 mol eq. of Water. having the chemical formula H10Na2O8S2 or Na2S2O3-5H2O. Its solution appears as a colorless clear liquid and is sparingly soluble in Water at ambient conditions. Sodium Thiosulfate, 0.10N Solution, Lab Grade is composed of ~5 g of pure Sodium Thiosulfate Pentahydrate solid dissolved in its aqueous solution. It possesses similar normality and molarity. Chemically and pure or Laboratory reagents are the two terms often used to describe Lab Grade chemicals. Lab Grade chemicals do not meet any accepted quality or purity requirements such as the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, and the FCC Grade, despite their acceptable purity.
