Trichloroethylene (TCE) is a halocarbon with three hydrogen atoms in the Ethylene molecule replaced by chlorine. TCE, Trichlor, Trike, and Tricky are some of the acronyms for Trichloroethylene in the industry. Whereas, Trimar and Trilene are some of the brand names of this product. At room temperature, it appears as a colorless, nonflammable liquid with a pleasant odor and a burning flavor. It's mostly used as a solvent to remove grease from metal parts. Lab Alley's Trichloroethylene, ACS Reagent Grade, ≥99.5% fully complies with the American Chemical Society's (ACS) requirements due to its excellent purity. The ACS grade is usually the same as the reagent grade, and it's ideal for analytical and research applications that require repeatable, consistent findings.
