About Ammonium Bromide Granular, ACS Reagent Grade

Ammonium bromide, an ammonium salt composed of Ammonium and Bromide ions in a 1:1 ratio, is prepared by the reaction of Hydrobromic Acid and Ammonia. It is also preferably synthesized by the direct reaction of Ammonia with aqueous solution of Bromine. It appears as white odorless crystals or granules that can turn yellow upon exposure to air, owing to its slight hygroscopic nature. It possesses pungent saline taste and sublimes at high temperature without melting. Chemicals in the Reagent Grade category have high purity and are best suited for analytical purposes. They're useful in research investigations as they produce consistent, trustworthy, and repeatable findings. In the United States of America (USA), Lab Alley sells its high-quality Ammonium Bromide, Granular, Reagent Grade online at laballey.com.
