About Benzalkonium Chloride 50% Solution, NF Grade
Benzalkonium Chloride, NF Grade consists of dodecyl and tetradecyl components of benzyl dimethyl ammonium chloride. It appears as a colorless or slightly yellowish viscous liquid at room temperature. Based on its purity, our premium quality Benzalkonium Chloride is certified by and the National Formulary (NF).
Benzalkonium chloride has three main categories of use: as a biocide, a cationic surfactant, and phase transfer agent in the chemical industry. It is widely used in cosmetics, wet wipes, hand and surface sanitizers. It is an organic salt classified as a quaternary ammonium compound.
