Hydrochloric Acid, Lab Grade (30%) is an aqueous solution of hydrogen chloride gas that appears as a colorless liquid at room temperature. It is also known as Muriatic Acid due to its tendency to form brine or salt upon reaction with basic compounds. At 30% concentration, it is very corrosive and produces vapors with a pungent odor. Due to the presence of impurities, our 30% Hydrochloric Acid is certified as the lab grade reagent. Lab grade chemicals possess reasonable purity but do not comply with any official standard for quality or purity. It is not only suitable for research labs and training purpose, but also industrial applications.

Hydrochloric Acid Storage
Hydrochloric acid cannot be stored in metal contains but plastic containers made with polyvinyl chloride are a great option. It should be kept in a cool, well-ventilated area away from moisture sources. Keep the container tightly closed and keep it away from incompatible materials.
