About Salicylic Acid 10% Solution
Salicylic Acid, also known as 2-Hydroxybenzoic Acid, Saligel, 2-Carboxyphenol has the chemical formula C7H6O3. It appears as an odorless, white to light tan solid with an acrid taste. It is very slightly soluble in water and is obtained from wintergreen leaves and the bark of white willow. Lab Alley’s Salicylic Acid, 10% Solution is a light strength Beta-Hydroxy Acid peel that is commonly used for skin care. The chemicals in Cosmetic Grade comply with the requirements of the Fair Packaging & Labeling (FP&L) Act and the Federal Food & Cosmetics (FD&C) Act. Cosmetic Grade products are highly recommended to use in cosmetic production and any non-medical industrial applications. These chemicals are not suitable for use in food applications.
