About Sodium Hydroxide 10N
Sodium Hydroxide is an inorganic chemical that appears as a white crystalline solid at room temperature. It is also called caustic because of its high basic nature, which produces a lot of heat when mixed with water or neutralized with acid. NaOH is the chemical formula for this compound. The solution is extremely corrosive to metals and causes severe irritation upon contact with skin tissues, eyes, and mucous membrane. Sodium Hydroxide, 10N solution is a laboratory-grade reagent containing 400 grams of Sodium Hydroxide per Liter of deionized water. Owing to the presence of one hydrogen atom in its molecule, the Molarity and Normality of this chemical are the same.
