About Salicylic Acid 20% in Acetone
Salicylic Acid, also known as 2-Hydroxybenzoic Acid, 2-Carboxyphenol, and o-Hydroxybenzoic Acid has the chemical formula C7H6O3. It appears as an odorless, white-colored to light tan solid with an acrid taste. It is soluble in Acetone and slightly soluble in Water, therefore, when added to Water, it sinks and slowly mixes with it at ambient conditions. It is a beta-Hydroxy Acid that occurs as a natural compound in plants and acts as a growth regulator. Lab Alley’s Salicylic Acid 20% in Acetone contains 20% Salicylic Acid in 80% of Acetone.
The Salicylic 20% skin peel is a medium strength beta hydroxy acid peel used in skincare to clear clogged pores with repeated use and address oil production when used regularly.
