Silver Chloride, also known as Silver(1+) Chloride, Chlorosilver, Silver Monochloride, and Silver(I) Chloride, has the chemical formula AgCl. It appears as clear white/grey light-sensitive crystals or powder with no odor. It is insoluble in Water, Alcohol, and Acids at ambient conditions. It is stable under ambient conditions but turns darker in color on exposure to light, which disintegrates silver chloride into elemental chlorine and metallic silver. Chemicals in the Reagent Grade category have high purity and are best suited for analytical purposes. They're useful in research investigations as they produce consistent, trustworthy, and repeatable findings. In the United States of America (USA), Lab Alley is selling its high-quality Silver Chloride, Reagent Grade online at laballey.com.
