Silver Oxide, also known as Disilver Oxide, Silver(1+) Oxide, Argentous Oxide, and Argentiooxysilver, has the chemical formula Ag2O. It appears as photosensitive fine brown to black powder with no odor. It is practically insoluble in Water and Alcohol at ambient conditions. When heated to decomposition, it decomposes into metallic Silver and Oxygen. Purified Grade, also known as Pure or Practical Grade, refers to those high-purity compounds that do not fulfill the ACS, the USP, or the FCC grade requirements. They are mostly used in conjunction with Lab Grade chemicals. In the United States of America (USA), Lab Alley is selling its high-quality Silver Oxide, Purified online at laballey.com.
