At room temperature, Isopropyl Alcohol, commonly known as Isopropanol, is a highly volatile, colorless liquid with a musty odor. Due to the trace concentration of water, the purity of 99.9+% renders it anhydrous. The solvents used for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing are commonly known as semiconductor grade solvents because they constitute metallic concentrations in parts per billion or trillion range.
